Hello! I’m Kira!

I am a theatre maker and researcher who has an interest in 17th Century Mexican and Spanish theatre and adapting historically distant plays through the use of promenade performance.

Due to the recent lock down, I am currently on a gap year after completing half of my MA by Research in Theatre and Performance, looking particularly at the dramatic works of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. I intend to complete it starting again in September 2021. Until then I plan on living my best life simply earning money and hopefully heading to Mexico for a couple of months.

Otherwise I have many interests, including travel and books. I previously had a blog on blogger (which I am in the process of transferring posts from – now http://www.kiralcurtis.blogspot.com) in which I often spoke about my interest so this website has now been created in order to combine my interests all into one place!
